My friend’s mom had a birthday coming up and she wanted to order her a dulce de leche cake like the one I had made before which they loved, but she wanted this one in a heart shape.
Smelled pretty amazing. With the last cake I made I used two 9″ round pans, but since I only had one heart shaped pan in that size, I poured the all the batter in the pan and cut it in half when it cooled.
Added the dulce de leche frosting and almonds which completes it.
Wrote Happy Birthday Mom on it and it was ready to go.
I had enough batter leftover for two cupcakes. Had the same concept as the cake with the frosting and almonds, but I added a dulce de leche drizzle.
