With the last raw challenge post I was only one week into it, I actually was able to make it to three weeks of on all raw food. I was raw for the rest of the New York trip and three days in Miami. Raw was definitely easier in New York with my cousin than back in Miami, but I did it.
Day nine: raw carrot salad with homemade dressing
Day 10: raw “cheese” stuffed mushrooms
Day 11: raw seaweed wrap with dehydrated “cheese”
Raw zucchini pesto pasta
Day 12: raw salad with raw crackers, picnic in the park
This is the garden where they filmed When Harry Met Sally.
Day 13: raw sushi rolls
Day 14: raw pie with strawberries
Raw coffee pie
Where the twin towers used to be.
Day 15: raw Caesar salad with “cheese” and dressing on onion “bread”
Day 17: raw tostadas on onion “bread” with homemade chimichurri
Went to Times Square for the first time, at night of course.
Empire state building.
Checked out Rockefeller Plaza
The Today show studio.
Day 18: raw salad with croutons and walnut “meat”
Day 19: my last day in NY had a tomato avocado tartar with almond “cheese” at Candle Cafe in the upper east side.
Day 20: first day back in Miami I made a spinach and kale salad with shredded carrots.
Day 21: green smoothie with kale.
I finished the raw challenge July 8th, had some meat, but didn’t like it anymore. I am now vegetarian 🙂 thanks to my cousin.
