Homemade Pizza

My cousin before leaving for India, showed me a pizza crust package she has and told me I could make pizza while she was away. I was finally able to make it just before my friend flew back home to Miami before the Thanksgiving traveling chaos, especially now with this storm.

I was only making one pizza, which is half the package, you just add water and oil.

Spread it with a spatula at least 14 inches and no more than 1/4″ thick on a baking sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and add your toppings then bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. I added pasta sauce and daiya vegan cheese.

My friend and I shared this pizza and it was very good, we enjoyed it.

• 1 1/2 cups pizza crust mix
• 1 tsp oil
• 1 1/4 cups water
• sauce and topping of your choice

Preheat oven to 450º F. Place oven rack at lowest position. Spray large pizza pan with non-stick spray.
Combine pizza crust mix, oil and water. Beat with electric mixer for 3 minutes. Batter will be the consistency of cake batter. Scrape batter onto pizza pan and spread with spatula. Spread batter at least 14 inches and no more than 1/4″ thick.
Bake for approximately 20 minutes on lowest rack. Pull the crust out and add sauce and toppings, then bake an additional 10-15 minutes. For crispier crust, flip crust over after first 20 minutes, then add sauce and toppings.
